CCTV:
CCTV plays an important role in today’s world, from shopping centres to train stations and public streets, cameras are everywhere we look.
Many people view CCTV cameras as an intrusion on their privacy, but in reality they serve to protect the general public from those that would seek to take advantage of us.
CCTV systems installed at retail business’s serve to prevent shoplifting and theft.
Other systems are installed to prevent anti social behavior and violence, while some systems are installed simply to monitor the flow of traffic and people. Most CCTV systems are not watched 24 hours a day and some are only reviewed in the event of an occurrence.
CCTV has evolved considerably in the last 10 years, with the introduction of Digital recording and IP networks, images can be stored for longer periods and viewed from anywhere in the world.
Ultimate Protection has installed many CCTV systems including small domestic systems to large commercial systems of up to 32 cameras, many of our clients include Hotels, Shopping Centres, Factories, Service Stations and smaller retail outlets. |
All equipment is of the highest quality, using products from Digital S I, Kobi, Ness, Bosch and Mainline Security Products.
All DVR’s installed by Ultimate Protection have the ability to be viewed securely off site via the internet.
With a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) footage can be stored for up to several months depending on the size of the hard drive installed, all DVR’s have the option to copy footage to either DVD, CD or USB drive for archiving, DVD is the preferred medium of the Police for evidence purposes. DVR’s are available PC based or non PC based, otherwise referred to as standalone.
The Products used by Ultimate Protection all record time and date and watermarked for authenticity purposes, this is often required if the footage is to be admissible in court.
Many types of cameras are available, from the smallest 1mm pinhole camera to a full body day night camera with 22x zoom lens.
Many cameras are made in the dome type for easier installation on walls and ceilings, with vandal resistant cameras being the most popular. |

Object Search
The object search is where you draw out an area and search out all the motion activity within that area. For example, a handbag was stolen from a sales counter. You could draw out the area of the counter where the handbag was stolen from and quickly search out to see when it was taken and who took it.
Day Search
The day search is where you can search out one camera for a whole day. 24 screens and displayed representing each hour of the day. You can drill down on an hour segment and divide it into 5 minute segments. You can also drill down on the 5 minute segment to split into 1 minute segments. This will allow you to view 24 hours of one camera within an hour, or 1 hour within 5 minutes or 5 minutes within 1 minute.
AVI Backup with Watermark
An AVI (single camera) backup can be executed with watermark technology applied. Using the watermark software provided, you may verify whether the video data of the AVI file has been altered at any stage.
All Camera Backup
When backing up al cameras the XPE series DVR copies the viewing program to the same backup disk. There is no need to install the viewing program as it is self loading when used on most Windows™ XP computers. This is of particular interest to Police services as installing different software packages to suit different surveillance systems is not welcomed. |
