Key Personnel
General Manager
Ultimate Protection’s founder & General Manager, Eric Lawes, has over 20 years experience in the Security Industry, starting as a Patrol Officer with MSS, performing night Patrols, Hotel Security, Armed Cash Moves and Dog handling. He was offered the opportunity to expand his knowledge into the electronic side of the industry some 14 years ago, he quickly saw that this was the future of the Security Industry and has seen many changes over the years, he has watched technology grow from the old voice dialer alarms systems using 8 track cartridges to send a recorded message down the phone line, to the sophisticated systems used today.
Ultimate Protection has grown from humble one man operation to a business that employs over 30 staff who provide a wide range of expertise in both the physical and electronic field. In 2008 Eric acquired Rely Security a company that he managed for many years as a franchisee.
Eric’s believes that Honesty and Integrity are the key to providing a reliable and reputable Security Service and that clients should feel comfortable and confident when engaging Ultimate Protection to ensure the safety and well being of their business or home.
Office Manager

Sue has proved that she is competent at Patrols and Guard work and has earned the respect of all the staff as not just an office worker but a professional Security Officer who is not afraid to get her hands dirty. We credit Sue with the smooth day to day operation of Ultimate Protection.
Technical Manager
Rick Lawes grew up in the Security Industry and its no surprise that he followed his parents into the same industry.
After a short time as an apprentice butcher Rick felt that his true calling was working in the fast growing Security Industry where no two days are alike. Rick started off helping his father Eric, install alarms and CCTV systems during school holidays, where he obtained a keen interest in electronics and like most teenagers he learned quickly.
Rick’s role as Technical Manager sees him quoting and installing equipment from small domestic systems to large commercial systems as well as managing our extensive alarm and CCTV client base. Rick also performs many contract service calls for other companies such as Chubb. As a fully licensed Security Officer Rick also performs Patrols, Guards and Armed cash moves.

Toni wanted a new challenging career in an industry where she could use her experience in the retail industry as well as learning something new. Toni quickly saw that the Security industry offered what she wanted.
